KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: ------------------------------------- 1. Assist in ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including Companies Act, corporate governance codes, and other relevant laws. 2. Coordinate and support board and committee meetings, including preparing agendas, collating meeting papers, and drafting minutes. 3. Ensure effective communication between the board members and relevant stakeholders. 4. Maintain and update statutory registers, such as the register of members, directors, and secretaries. 5. Ensure timely filing of statutory returns, annual accounts, and other required documents with regulatory authorities. 6. Prepare legal documents, including board resolutions, powers of attorney, and shareholder agreements. 7. Review and draft legal contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. 8. Develop and implement corporate policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and best practices. 9. Monitor changes in legislation and regulations, and update internal policies accordingly. 10. Act as a point of contact between the company, regulatory authorities, and external professionals (e.g., lawyers, auditors). 11. Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration. 12. Make all the necessary legal documents as and when required by the company. Proven experience of 1 to 2 years in corporate laws, regulations, corporate governance, and drafting. 3. Proficient in maintaining statutory registers, preparing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with filing requirements. 4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise board minutes, reports, and other legal documents. 5. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. 6. Analytical and problem solving abilities to identify and resolve legal and compliance issues. 7. Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 8.
