We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ayurvedic Chef/Cook to join our team at Adirekha Ayurveda Private Limited. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Ayurvedic principles and a deep understanding of preparing nutritious and balanced meals in accordance with Ayurvedic guidelines. The Ayurvedic Chef/Cook will play a crucial role in contributing to the overall wellness and healing process of our patients through thoughtfully curated Ayurvedic meals. Key Responsibilities:
Menu Planning:
Develop Ayurvedic menus that align with the principles of Ayurveda, considering the dosha balance and individual dietary requirements.
Collaborate with nutritionists and Ayurvedic practitioners to create menus tailored to specific health conditions and treatment plans.
Food Preparation:
Prepare meals using fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients.
Ensure that food is cooked and presented in accordance with Ayurvedic principles, considering taste, texture, and seasonal variations.
Quality Control:
Maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene in the kitchen.
Conduct regular checks to ensure that meals meet Ayurvedic specifications and adhere to the hospital's standards.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the healthcare team, including Ayurvedic doctors and therapists, to understand patient needs and adjust meal plans accordingly.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust dietary plans as needed.
Education and Training:
Provide training to kitchen staff on Ayurvedic principles and cooking techniques.
Stay informed about the latest developments in Ayurvedic nutrition and incorporate new knowledge into daily practices.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef/Cook with a focus on Ayurvedic cuisine.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare environment.
