Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Chef de Partie with expertise in Pan Asian cuisine to join our dynamic kitchen team in Jammu. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing and presenting authentic Pan Asian dishes, ensuring that high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently met. Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality Pan Asian dishes, including but not limited to Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Korean cuisines. Menu Development: Assist in creating and updating the Pan Asian menu, ensuring a variety of innovative and authentic dishes. Kitchen Management: Oversee and coordinate the activities of junior kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. Quality Control: Monitor food quality during preparation and before serving, ensuring that it meets the restaurant's standards. Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory, ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are fresh, well-stocked, and used efficiently. Compliance: Ensure that all food preparation and storage complies with health and safety standards and regulations. Training & Development: Mentor and train junior chefs, helping them develop their skills and knowledge of Pan Asian cuisine. Collaboration: Work closely with the Head Chef and other team members to create a harmonious and efficient kitchen environment. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, with a focus on Pan Asian cuisine. Skills: Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of Pan Asian cooking techniques and ingredients. Creativity: Ability to innovate and contribute to menu development with new and exciting Pan Asian dishes. Team Player: Excellent teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage junior kitchen staff. Adaptability: Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
