Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation:
Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared with the highest quality ingredients and attention to detail.
Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size.
Station Management:
Manage and oversee a specific section of the kitchen dedicated to Continental cuisine.
Ensure the station is well-stocked and organized, maintaining cleanliness and order.
Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes.
Menu Development:
Assist in the development and refinement of Continental menu items.
Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu.
Provide input on menu changes and specials.
Quality Control:
Monitor the quality of ingredients and prepared dishes.
Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Address any issues related to food quality promptly.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Assist in training junior kitchen staff and apprentices.
