Job Brief: We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our restaurant team. The Cashier will be responsible for processing customer payments, providing excellent service, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Greet customers warmly with a positive attitude.
- Accurately process cash, credit and debit transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints and feedback professionally and efficiently.
- Issue receipts, refunds and exchanges as needed, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with staff for any queries
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe dining experience for all patrons.
- Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation and report any discrepancies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a cashier.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for accurate cash handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
