As a Career Counsellor specializing in tele-calling, your primary responsibility is to connect with prospective students via telephone and provide them with valuable information about our educational programs and career opportunities. You will assist in guiding these individuals in making informed decisions about their academic and professional future. Your role is integral to the success of our institution in attracting and enrolling motivated students.
Tele-calling:
Conduct outbound calls to reach out to prospective students who have shown interest in our educational programs.
Engage in friendly and informative conversations to understand their educational and career aspirations.
Information Dissemination:
Provide detailed information about our academic programs, admission requirements, scholarships, and other relevant details.
Address queries and concerns of prospective students effectively and professionally.
Relationship Building:
Build rapport with prospective students by actively listening and demonstrating empathy.
Maintain a positive and persuasive tone to encourage potential students to consider our institution.
Lead Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all tele-calling activities, including leads generated and follow-up plans.
Follow-up:
Continuously follow up with potential students to nurture their interest and encourage them to take the next steps in the admission process.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with the Academics team to ensure that potential students are seamlessly transitioned to in-person or virtual counselling sessions when required.
Reporting:
Generate regular reports on call activities, conversion rates, and overall progress to provide insights for departmental improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Counselling, Marketing).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A customer-focused approach with the ability to build relationships and connect with individuals.
Patience and empathy in handling student inquiries and concerns.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in using standard office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in tele-calling, customer service, or related roles.
Knowledge of the institution's programs and admission procedures.
