Branch Manger

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, business development, and profitability of the branch. They ensure that the branch meets its financial and outreach targets while maintaining compliance with regulations and providing excellent customer service. The role involves leading a team, managing loan portfolios, and driving client acquisition in the local community.
Key Responsibilities:

Branch Operations Management:
Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with organizational policies.
Monitor cash flow, loan disbursements, and repayments.
Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and documented.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and lead a team of loan officers, customer service staff, and other branch employees.
Provide regular training, support, and performance evaluations for staff.
Foster a positive work environment and ensure employee engagement and motivation.
Loan Portfolio Management:
Manage and monitor the loan portfolio to ensure quality and minimal delinquency rates.
Approve loans based on creditworthiness and ensure proper loan documentation.
Conduct loan assessments, ensure client repayments, and manage loan recovery strategies.
Business Development:
Drive client acquisition strategies, focusing on expanding the branch's client base.
Identify potential customers and build relationships with the local community.
Promote financial literacy and microfinance services to underserved populations.
Customer Service & Relationship Management:
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering timely, responsive services.
Address client inquiries and complaints, providing solutions that align with company policies.
Build long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure the branch adheres to all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical practices.
Manage risk by maintaining a strong understanding of client creditworthiness and mitigating potential losses.
Conduct regular audits to monitor branch performance and address discrepancies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
3-5 years of experience in microfinance, banking, or financial services, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of microfinance products, loan assessment, and credit management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in financial management and experience with branch operations.
Ability to manage client relationships and develop business strategies for growth.
