Position: Autoclave Operator
Location: Udaipur, Rajasthan
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: Minimum 2 years in related field
Role Overview:
The Autoclave Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining autoclave systems used for the sterilization of equipment, materials, and copper recovery. The role involves setup, operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of autoclaves, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed. Additionally, the operator manages inventory, keeps accurate records of autoclave cycles, and ensures the availability of required supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain autoclave systems to sterilize equipment and materials.
- Set up autoclave machines, load them with items, and adjust temperature and pressure levels according to specifications.
- Monitor the sterilization process to ensure proper function and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of autoclave equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including those related to handling hazardous materials.
- Maintain accurate records of each autoclave cycle, including time, temperature, and pressure data.
- Manage inventory to ensure sufficient materials are available for continuous operation.
- Assist shop technicians and materials clerks as needed in production tasks.
- Follow established safety rules and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Perform production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation tasks.
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning during sterilization cycles.
- Adjust and validate autoclave parameters as required.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
- Conduct regular cleaning and upkeep of autoclave systems.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of sterilization methods and current autoclave technology.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work with hazardous materials.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
- Problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
- B.Tech in Metallurgy or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in autoclave operation, including knowledge of cadmium recovery, distillation, and reduction processes.
- Experience in sterilization cycle validation.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations related to metallurgical processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Fast-paced, safety-driven production facility.
- Involves working with potentially hazardous materials, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols.
