3D Designer job description:
The 3D Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models, animations, and visual
effects for various engineering projects. This role requires a combination of artistic vision and
technical expertise to produce engaging and realistic 3d models & animations.
3D Designer duties and responsibilities

• Develop 3D models, textures, and animations based on project requirements.

• Collaborate with other designers, artists, and developers to ensure a cohesive visual style.

• Create and maintain 3D assets and libraries.

• Utilize software tool (Blender) to create and refine models and animations.

• Ensure all designs meet quality standards and project deadlines.

• Optimize 3D models and assets for performance and compatibility across different platforms.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to 3D design and animation.

• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to incorporate new techniques and tools.

3D Designer requirements
· Excellent understanding and knowledge of 3D design
· Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
· Team player
· Good time-management skills
· Great interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong expertise in 3d modelling & Animation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Proven experience as a 3D Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing 3D modeling and animation skills.
· Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., Blender).
· Knowledge of texturing, shading, and lighting techniques.
· Understanding of animation principles and rigging.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
· Knowledge of mechanical engineering / product design will be an added advantage.
