Software Project Manager (R&D)
Take charge of the development of business-critical R&D projects in an agile software development environment at Emerson's Test & Measurement group! In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Project Planning : Establish and outline project scope, build comprehensive plans, and establish timelines. Ensure seamless planning, execution, and completion of medium to large R&D projects.
- Resource Management : Allocate and manage resources, including team members, to compete and successfully implement various tasks and phases of the project.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop and implement strategies to mitigate them, and intensify communication with leadership when necessary.
- Team Leadership : Lead and motivate the development team to ensure effective collaboration and communication. Maintain and support the project team, monitoring performance and health.
- Communication with Stakeholders : Maintain effective communication with collaborators at all levels, from leaders to individual contributors, ensuring they are informed and actively involved.

Quality Assurance : Drive projects according to T&M processes to meet required quality standards.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Technical Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field.
- Project Management Expertise : Knowledge of project management frameworks, tools, and practices such as Agile and Kanban.
- Effective Communication : Proficient in conveying important information through clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Experience : 3+ years of prior technical development experience, with exceptional time management skills.

Leadership : Prior experience in a leadership role is advantageous, showcasing the capacity to guide and encourage teams.
