Associate German Payroll Specialist

Based in Budapest, you’ll play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy and timely payments for global clients while contributing to a seamless employee pay experience. You’ll collaborate with experienced Payroll Specialists, maintain compliance, and make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

As an Associate German Payroll Specialist, you will:

Deliver payroll accurately and provide timely payment of employee salaries in line with client service level agreements and expectations
Complete controls and cross-checking on payroll results
Maintain payroll information, files, and records to provide up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance
Prepare and submit statutory declarations for authorities
Establish, update, and maintain the payroll engine
Partner with Payroll Specialists and SMEs to help with their work when they have a high workload
Prepare regular reports, handle standard client requests
Participate in German payroll related pieces of training, on-the-job-trainings from senior colleagues, and online training

We would appreciate it if you have the following attributes:

Strong German and English language skills
Good level of experience at a multinational company in finance/HR/IT
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines
Autonomy over your work
Forward thinking, ability to plan and organize own workload
To be a team player who can share information and interact positively with others
Strong user knowledge of Microsoft products, especially Excel and Word
BA or BSc degree
