Procurement Executive - FF&E
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Procurement:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in procurement, ideally within the hospitality or related industry (initially FF&E and later OS&E). Experience with Chinese suppliers and familiarity with Guangdong province is a significant plus. Some exposure to real estate or business development would be beneficial.
- Skills: Strong negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively. Fluency in English and Cantonese is essential.
- Personality: Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Procurement:
- Coordinate all procurement activities: From identifying suppliers to negotiating contracts, managing logistics, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Build and maintain relationships: With suppliers in Foshan and other regions in China.
- Conduct market research: To identify cost-effective sourcing options and stay updated on industry trends.
- Ensure quality control: By implementing inspection procedures and addressing any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records: Of all procurement activities and transactions.
- Research and identify: Potential real estate brokers in Hong Kong to assist with property sales in Dubai.
- Establish relationships: With brokers and coordinate property viewings and negotiations as needed.
- Provide support: Provide operational support to the Hong Kong office in managing the precious metals business, including inventory management, logistics, and client coordination.
- Prepare reports: On procurement activities, market trends, and business development progress.
- Assist with other tasks: As assigned by management.
