Risk Management Officer in Energy Sector
This is an opportunity for a talented professional to join our Risk Management team. This team is a core operational team for En Ex Clear, responsible for risk management procedures and data analysis for the Greek Energy Markets (Day Ahead, Intraday and Balancing Market for Electricity and Natural Gas Trading Platform).
Your duties and responsibilities will include:

- Design and Review Risk Management Procedures
- Conduct Data Analysis and Visualization using Power BI
- Prepare periodical reports and participate in the interpretation of the results for decision making
- Manage Risk Parameters
- Manage Clearing Members' collaterals
- Monitor of the credit limits for Clearing Members and Market Participants
- Support Clearing Funds’ operations
- Submit reports and recommendations to the relevant company’s committees and top management
- Participate in planning and regular testing of Business Continuity Plan
- Actively participate on Ad-Hoc projects
- University degree in Economics / Finance / Business or Engineering (preferably, Electrical or Computer)
- A combination of degrees in Economics/Business and Engineering will be highly appreciated
- Additional studies or 1- 2 years of working experience in risk management/clearing/energy markets will be considered as a plus
- Strong quantitative analysis & programming skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Aptitude for critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making
- Strength of character, ethics, commitment and reliability
- Fluent in both Greek and English (proficiency level)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office with emphasis on Excel
- Good knowledge of a reporting and data visualization tool – preferably Power BI (DAX) - will be considered as an asset
- Knowledge of SQL, Python/R will be considered as an asset
- Good database skills to work with large and complex data sets
