We are seeking a Sales Director too join our dynamic team in Thessaloniki.
As a Sales Director you will be responsible for the overall sales strategy, business development, and revenue growth within the logistics division. This position involves managing a team of sales professionals, identifying market opportunities, and establishing long-term relationships with clients in the logistics and supply chain industry. The Sales Director will work closely with the executive team to set strategic goals and ensure the company's logistics services are positioned effectively in the market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives and revenue targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on acquiring large clients and expanding into new markets.
• Take ownership of the sales department's P&L, ensuring that the department meets revenue and profitability targets.
• Analyze sales performance data and provide regular reports on sales metrics, revenue forecasts, and market trends to senior management.
• Maintain strong relationship with clients

Requirements

• Advanced business writing and oral skills both in Greek and English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of logistics and supple chain solutions
• Managing sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
• Consistency in achieving performance targets

To qualify for the job, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field
• Proven experience of sales, in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management.
• In-depth knowledge of the logistics and supply chain industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a sales team.
