As a Bartender at W Costa Navarino, you will play a crucial role in crafting and serving exceptional beverages to our guests, enhancing their overall experience. You will be responsible for creating innovative cocktails, providing friendly and knowledgeable service, and maintaining a well-organized bar area. Responsibilities
Create a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and specialty drinks, with precision and consistency.
Maintain a deep knowledge of recipes, ingredients, and presentation techniques.
Ensure all beverages are prepared to the highest standards, paying attention to flavor, garnishing, and temperature.
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, take drink orders, and provide recommendations when requested.
Engage with guests to create a personalized and enjoyable experience, making them feel welcome and appreciated.
Address guest inquiries and concerns, providing swift resolutions and exceptional service.
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked, including glassware, garnishes, and ingredients.
Monitor and control inventory levels and order supplies as needed to prevent shortages.
Follow established procedures for opening and closing the bar, including cash handling and reconciliation.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the beverage menu, including wine, beer, spirits, and specialty cocktails.
Be able to explain the menu to guests, suggest pairings, and promote special offerings.
Comply with food safety and hygiene standards, keeping the bar area and equipment clean and sanitized.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe environment for both guests and staff.
Requirements
2 years’ previous experience as a Bartender – experience in a high-end or upscale setting is preferred.
Knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using bar equipment and POS systems.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
A positive attitude, a passion for providing outstanding guest service, and a dedication to guest satisfaction.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Speak, write, and converse freely in both Greek and English. Knowledge of German and/or Russian language is an advantage.
