MPB is the world’s largest online platform for used photography and videography equipment. Our platform transforms the way that people buy, sell and trade in photo and video kit.
We have offices in Berlin, Brighton and Brooklyn and we are rapidly growing in all markets. We are expanding our teams and we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Returns Specialist to join our Berlin based team.

Please note: This is a part-time opportunity (20/hrs per week)
Responsibilities
Processing items:

Checking items’ functionality, cosmetic condition, and attributes.
Monitoring Slack for possibly missed communications with CE and other departments.
Noting faults and reasons for adjustments and observations, keeping communication clear and precise for CE on Flamingo notes.
Photographing items if needed.
Labelling purchased items for put-away in the stockroom.
Recording resolutions in the SMT sheet.

EOD:

Bringing all processed items to the right trolleys for Dispatch to organise the putaway.
Recycling leftover packaging.
Ensuring all devices are turned off and the PS area is left clean, paying extra attention to fans during summertime and heaters during winter.
Verifying that no third-party batteries are left on desks and identifying any misplaced batteries to report to a Senior/TL.

Recurring tasks:

Sending items for repairs, communicating with service providers, and maintaining the repair board up-to-date
Processing of failed deliveries.
Properly dispose of paper, plastic, and wrapping paper in the appropriate recycling bin.

Skills you'll need

A comprehensive knowledge of various camera equipment
Proficiency in handling stock and hands-on experience with gear.Willingness to consistently meet daily targets.
Punctuality in adhering to work schedules.
Competence in maintaining a tidy and organised workplace.
Effective communication skills for team coordination and reporting (English at B1 level).
Attention to detail to ensure the correct gear grading.
Previous experience in either a similar role with a track record of meeting daily targets or a warehouse setting.
