Marketing Specialist (m/w/d)
Are you a versatile marketing professional with a knack for crafting compelling narratives across various platforms? Join our team at Q-SYS, where you'll play a crucial role in shaping our marketing strategies and elevating our brand presence. As our Marketing Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to dive into diverse areas of marketing, from content creation and PR to social media management and data analysis. You'll work in our EMEA team, becoming an integral part of our marketing ecosystem and contributing to the success of our regional and global initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Main Tasks:
Content Marketing
- Craft copy for a range of marketing assets, channels and audiences
- Assist in developing content marketing strategies
- Takeover responsibility for the creation and publication of case studies
- Support campaign initiatives by creating compelling content
- Develop and maintain a thought-leadership network of internal and external contributors
- Continuously explore and propose new content types and channels to enhance marketing efforts
- Repurpose existing content for various platforms and audiences
- Monitor and analyse content performance to inform strategy and planning
Social media
- Coordinate and plan organic social media content
- Support local teams in creating effective content in line with global strategies and guidance
- Conduct day-to-day management and monitoring of social media channels
- Assist in implementing social media best practices across the organisation
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices
PR, Media and Communications
- Craft copy for editorial content, features, awards, press releases and HR-related internal communications for the EMEA, SAARC, and APAC markets
- Support in editing and proofreading external communications
- Monitor and analyse media and PR coverage and outcomes
- Research audience media preferences and outlets to inform strategy
Translation process management
- Manage the translation process for documents, materials, and communications for Q-SYS globally, working with an AI-driven translation tool, Smartling, and the translation agency (note: you will not be required to translate or check content yourself. Only manage the translation process)
- Coordinate with internal teams, departments, and external vendors to ensure the quality, consistency, and timely delivery of translations
- Manage the translation budgets and process translation payments
Qualifications:
Your Profile:
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills are essential
- Content creation and copywriting experience, ideally in technology/software or B2B
- Excellent portfolio of work which spans different written forms/formats and audience types
- Fluency in a second language is advantageous but not essential
- An interest in design and visual content is desirable, but not essential
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Creative writer and thinker with a passion for storytelling and the development of compelling content
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies
- Confident in working independently and using initiative to drive projects forward
- Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
