VEHICLE LOGISTICS SPECIALIST
Vehicle Logistics Specialist manages the life cycle of press and company cars, starting from entry into the country and ending with sale as a used car. Cars are maintained in the SAP VMS and VISTA systems. Vehicle Logistics Specialist tasks include handling car orders, accessories, PDI orders and organizing hand overs. Vehicle Logistics Specialist supervises expenses and insurance transactions during use. When the car is returned, Vehicle Logistics Specialist takes care of the car's condition assessment. Vehicle Logistics Specialist is the main admin of the JLR Subscription & Rent service. Vehicle Logistics Specialist participates in organizing events and test drives that require PR and press cars and makes sure cars are available and ready to use at all times. The role is both practical and administrative. Vehicle Logistics Specialists reports to Sales Manager and works in close cooperation with Marketing and Retail teams.
Main tasks as a Vehicle Logistics Specialist:
Fleet/Co Car car administration on SAP VMS:
Internal orders
Transport requests
Prices
Maintain cars in use/not in use for finance department
Order processing:
Accessories; winter tyres, carpets etc
PDI scheduling with retail
Registrations, VISTA handover maintenance
Company Car benefit calculations
Invoicing the monthly fee of cooperation cars from partners
Reviewing fleet related invoices (PDI, service, accessories)
Handling repairs/contacts with insurers in cases of collision/vandalism/etc
At vehicle return phase preparing cars for sale/remarketing:
Condition evaluation
Pricing and sales together with Sales Manager
Invoicing to dealer
Maintaining cars in JLR Subscription&Rent portal and their operative management
Supporting sales and marketing team at events
Preparation of marketing and demonstration cars
Organizing transportation
Support operative sales activities
Vehicle Logistics Specialist works in our head office at Vantaa, Ansatie as well as in our retail store in Herttoniemi. The employee must have a valid driver’s license. The ideal applicant already has some work experience with similar tasks and SAP experience is highly valued. The ideal applicant is a good team player equipped with a positive can-do attitude. Please note this position is a fixed term position for 6 months.
