What will you do in this role?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Supply Chain Specialist to join our global Supply Chain team. In this role, you will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will be responsible for purchasing defined component categories (PCB/A, components). Your daily tasks will include:
Manage RFI/RFP/RFQs, order processing, follow-ups, and quality claims
Plan and ensure material availability for both internal and external production
Define and manage optimal stock levels for specified component categories
Continuously search for alternative components, vendors, and technologies for microsatellites
Ensure compliance with global supply chain processes
Assist in technical negotiations and lead commercial negotiations
Support inbound and outbound logistics, as well as inventory management
Contribute to trade compliance-related tasks
Financial reporting related to orders and invoice verification
Contribute to the development and enhancement of processes and workflows for the responsibilities listed above
Requirements What will you need to be successful in this role?
The ideal candidate has either a commercial background with a technical mindset or an engineering background with commercial experience
3-5 years of experience in procuring electronics manufacturing services and/or components, with a track record of working with relevant suppliers in the field
Ability to collaborate, lead, and influence both internal and external stakeholders
Experience using an ERP system for data and material management (Net Suite experience is a plus)
Excellent written and verbal communication, along with strong negotiation skills.
Proficiency in English
General knowledge of managing external electronics manufacturing and related processes
In addition to the above, it would be beneficial if you had the below attributes and skills:
Finnish language skills are an advantage
Technical knowledge related to electronic assemblies is beneficial
Familiarity with import/export procedures is an advantage
Knowledge of the aerospace, space, or satellite industry—particularly suppliers, technologies, parts, and standards—is a major plus

Base salary range for this position is contingent on your experience level, and will be discussed individually at oyur first call with ICEYE.
