Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships

We are now looking for a Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships

As a Senior Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing commercially focused strategic partnerships with major players who align with our company's offering and business strategy towards smart buildings. You will work closely especially with our digital offering team, business lines, customer facing teams and product teams to ensure that the partnerships enhance the customer experience and our offering, while delivering value to both partners. You will be responsible for business casing and development, negotiating contracts, developing relationships, overseeing joint development and customer projects, and coordinating relevant go-to-market activities with our partners. The role is a combination of strategic business development, high level stakeholder influencing, and operational portfolio & project management at the same time.

Responsibilities
  • Research, identify and evaluate potential partners that can enhance and complement our offering portfolio, increase our market reach and/or speed up scaling of our digital services towards smart building customers
  • Develop and execute partnership strategies and plans that align with our company's goals and objectives
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at partner organizations
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, terms, and conditions
  • Monitor and drive partnership performance, ensuring that deliverables, milestones, and KPIs are me
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication between our company and our partners
  • Do high level business casing and coordinate relevant joint development & customer projects and respective portfolio
  • Drive joint marketing/thought leadership and go-to-market activities with the partners
  • Report the progress both internally and with the partner in relevant forums
  • Support KONE’s strategy initiatives via partnering

The desired candidate will have
  • Master's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in partnership development, business development, or account management in the technology sector
  • Prior experience with digital solutions within the smart building segment
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing partnerships
  • Experience on growing business via channel partnerships is considered as a benefit
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Great networker with a hands-on collaboration attitude
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Passionate about business innovation and digital technology
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Preferred location is Espoo, Finland. Some other locations with KONE R&D facilities are also possible. The selected candidate will report to Head of Strategic Partnerships. This role requires travelling max. 20% of the time. The role also requires being rather tightly involved with some of our core stakeholders and partners f-2-f, at least in the beginning, but there is an opportunity to work also remotely according to our flexible working policy.
