We are looking for a highly motivated team player to join our Private Wealth Management & Family Office team in Helsinki as Senior KYC Specialist.

Private Wealth Management & Family Office in Finland is a division serving privately owned capital towards the wealthiest individuals and families in Finland. We offer a wide range of products and services based on individual needs in close cooperation with a variety of product specialists within SEB.

Our client segments in Finland consist of professional family offices, foundations, professional private investors, wealthy individuals as well as clients with specific needs, such as entrepreneurs, professionals and executives.

About the role

As a Senior KYC (“Know-Your-Customer”) Specialist, you will play a key role in providing top-tier service to our Private Wealth Management & Family Office clients. Working closely with Client Executives, you’ll ensure a smooth journey for clients, their assets, and transactions. You’ll contribute to the client experience during onboarding and KYC reviews while also gaining expertise in broader regulatory processes.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating and delivering specialist support in KYC/AML and other regulatory matters. You’ll drive continuous improvement of work methods, participate in local and global projects, and collaborate closely with our client team and stakeholders. At SEB, we are all team players and work tightly together to form the best service for our clients. This position will offer you a comprehensive view of our clients and their relationship with the bank.

Key responsibilities:

Understand our customers and their business from an AML perspective
Act as a subject-matter expert on KYC and other regulatory processes
Conduct structured AML due diligence assessments
Collaborate closely with client teams and other stakeholders globally
Manage client regulatory life-cycle administration
Participate in various projects
Contribute to the development of efficient, client-oriented AML and regulatory processes

To thrive in this role, we believe you have

Relevant bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in AML/KYC processes within the financial sector. You have a strong familiarity with KYC and the regulatory framework for onboardings/reviews.
A proactive mindset, thriving in fast-paced environments where processes are constantly evolving. You enjoy building and improving systems and workflows.
Strong analytical skills, with a structured, detail-orientated approach to your tasks. You work independently and prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continually developing your skills and those of your team.
A collaborative attitude, excelling as a team player while contributing to a supportive and productive work environment.
Fluency in English, with proficiency in a Scandinavian or Finnish language is an advantage.
