Lead the Future of Software Development: Join Valmet's Innovative R&D Team as a Lead Software Developer!
At Valmet, we are looking for a Lead Software Developer to join our Information Platforms team, where you'll have the opportunity to drive the continuous development of our self-service analytics tools and applications.
Responsibilities:

Leading a team of software developers focused on the continuous development of our self-service analytics tools and applications and it’s codebase.

Guide the team in planning, dividing tasks and making sure work is done according to the team’s agreed best practices.

Lead the continuous improvement of the development process and practices together with the team.

Take part in planning our product roadmap further by bringing a software developers perspective in product planning.

Completing development tasks together with the team.
Expectations:
-
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
-
Experience: 3-5 years as a software developer with expertise in Java Script, React, Type Script, and Node.js.
-
Solid understanding of software development processes and experience in guiding teams on task implementation.
-
Previous experience with Snowflake, SQL, Containers (Docker, Kubernetes), AWS, and Salesforce frameworks is a plus but not mandatory.
-
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex challenges.
-
Fluency in Finnish and English.
-
Experience in supporting and mentoring team members is highly valued.
