Let’s rule the seas together! – Thomas Bayard – Vice President, IM Information Security Technical Lead We are looking for an ambitious, experienced, structured and visionary Information Security Technical Lead within our Information Security domain. This senior-level professional position’s purpose is to oversee the development and implementation of technical- and non-technical security standards and solutions for our organisation's systems and applications. You will work as the “right-hand” to the CISO, developing and implementing technical security standards, processes, training, and communications to ensure adherence to organisational security guidelines, standards, and best practices. Key Resbonsibilities
Review, analyse, and monitor security system reports and logs for suspicious activities, trends, and patterns, responding to anomalies as needed.
Oversee the outsourced Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service to ensure service quality, timely incident response, and adherence to the organisation’s security standards.
Approve technical security controls and manage exception requests related to their use, ensuring alignment with security standards and guidelines.
Regularly assess and improve the security posture through the proactive identification of vulnerabilities, risks, and areas for improvement, while staying updated on emerging security threats and trends.
Collaborate with the Information Management team to enhance the overall security posture and patch management lifecycle, based on data from the vulnerability management and threat intelligence platforms.
Deploy, maintain, and optimise tools used to assess, analyse, audit, and manage information security, such as Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solution.
Liaise with team members, management, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed according to security standards.
Identify and assess security risks and develop and maintain contingency plans to mitigate the impact of potential security breaches.
Respond promptly to security incidents, including potential breaches, working to mitigate their impact.
Skills and Experience You will be Technology Lead for security needs, so we expect you to have experience in security domains, excellent communication skills, and professional certifications such as CISSP. Other requirements are:
Bachelor's degree or higher and minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of international frameworks including IEC 62443, ISO-27001, EU NIS 2, US CSF 2.0 (typically NIST-800-53 etc.)
Strong IM Infrastructure & Technology (ICT) & Network technology skills
Cloud Security experience, preferably from AWS and Google Cloud
Knowledge of ICT services and service processes based on ITIL framework and best practices
Experience with infrastructure management and monitoring tools
Experience from Palo Alto Cortex and related tools
Project management & coordination skills
Excellent communication skills, Fluent in English
