Information Security Management Consultant
We are looking for Information Security Management Consultant to join our growing team to work on diverse customer projects!
Gofore's cybersecurity business has been growing rapidly in recent years, and we have established ourselves as a trusted partner for our clients in the public sector, critical infrastructure, and private sector. Our team consists of several technical and administrative cybersecurity professionals, and we have large client projects underway, for which we are now seeking a new team member.
Your typical tasks may include information security compliance and gap assesments, ISMS development and implementation, integrating cybersecurity into risk management, or having a more comprehensive role, such as serving as our clients' as information security officer. As a consultant, your role may vary depending on the project. Thus, a flexible and curious attitude is a common trait among our experts.
Together we build truly meaningful and impactful services that affect the lives of everyone in Finland. Some examples of our clients include: Aimo Park, Labkotec, Cardiff University, Digital and Population Data Services Agency, VR, Valtra.
What we expect from you
To succeed in this position, you:
- have years of work experience of information security tasks and projects.
- have experience of creating the organization's information security guidelines and processes and consulting the organization's management on matters related to information security.
- have experience in managing information security risks and threats and impelmenting information security management systems (ISMS).
- have planned and implemented various information security assesments or audits.
- have a strong understanding of and ability to apply the requirements of information security-related legislation, official guidelines and requirements frameworks (e.g. NIS2 ISO27001, Katakri, Julkri, Pi Tu Kri, NIST CSF) in the management and development of information security.
- strong self-leadership skills and interaction skills.
Seen as advantage:
- Understanding of the technical apsects of cyber security, e.g. basics of cloud environment.
- Experience in business contiuity management and preparedness.
- Relevant B.Sc or M.Sc degree.
- CISA, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, CISM, CSX or other similar generally recognized industry certificates.

Salary development: For us it is important that Goforeans receive reasonable total compensation for their work.
