As the Head of Event Production, you will lead a team of Event Experience Managers across Nordics, shaping the future of our events and gatherings, and executing virtual content production, by leading from the front in executing and coaching the team on the job. This role involves overseeing venue planning, negotiation, and ensuring exceptional hospitality at our events and gatherings. The ideal candidate has passion for creating unforgettable experiences, a knack for meticulous planning, and a proven track record of leading successful event teams. You are a team player by heart engaging all internal teams involved, to create the best possible experience and hospitality for our event attendees.
Your role:
Final accountability of all events we execute in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway, holding the budget, ensuring customer satisfaction, and bringing the best out of the event teams on pre, during and after the events and virtual productions
Lead and coach a team of Event Experience Managers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence, ensuring team motivation and productivity. Keeping processes and templates to ensure smooth one way of doing across the markets
Execute event production plans, aligned with objectives and budgets, with an innovative take. This includes all physical events as well as virtual content recorded or streamed from selected studio locations.
Collaborate with marketing and business teams to deliver events that drive brand visibility and client engagement.
Curate innovative event concepts and formats to stay ahead of industry trends and exceed attendee expectations.
What you’ll bring:
Experience in leading high-performing event teams, success through effective leadership, inspiring communication of clear expectations and giving feedback.
Top of class project management skills, and ability to work with parallel deadlines, and multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to delegate and coach the team to learn.
Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities while showing creative thinking in venue selections and finding best ROI for the given budgets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
