KONE Procurement Organization (KPO) is supporting all KONE business functions and business lines in ensuring competitive, innovative, and suitable supply of products and services for their needs. The Global Indirect Procurement Team is defining and implementing procurement roadmaps, manages global suppliers, and handles tactical procurement activities in cooperation relevant business functions. Professional Services is an important category within Indirect Procurement.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated
Global Procurement Manager, Professional Services
to join our dynamic team at KONE Procurement. In this key role, you will report to the Global Category Manager for Professional Services and play a crucial part in our global procurement strategy relating to e.g. consulting, finance, temporary labor, marketing and HR.
You will work closely with international scope with multiple internal key stakeholders and management teams of other functions to align procurement strategies and ensure success in your area.
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate closely with the Global Category Manager to develop and execute procurement strategies for professional services and other indirect categories
Run and coordinate RFPs for key initiatives in professional services
Lead the negotiation and management of contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-efficiency and high-quality services
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and build strong relationships with them
Work closely with key stakeholders and management teams of other functions to align procurement strategies with broader organizational goals.
Stay up to date with industry trends and market dynamics to make informed decisions.
Implement sustainable procurement practices to align with our corporate responsibility initiatives.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Manage reporting related to professional services procurement.
Requirements for the position:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
Vast experience in global procurement preferably with a focus on professional services. Experience in other indirect categories such as ICT is seen as a benefit.
Strong negotiation skills and a track record of successful cost-saving initiatives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, multicultural and global environment
Willingness to understand and dive into new areas of services and understand industry, pricing and related mechanisms
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally
Excellent written and spoken English skills
The position is located in Espoo, Finland. The preferred start would be in December 2024.
