Design Engineer - Mechanical & Piping

We are looking for:

We are looking for a Design Engineer to work within our partner in Energy and Power Plant Industry on innovative projects in the renewables and technology sector. In this role, you'll take charge of Mechanical and Piping engineering activities, guiding and coordinating efforts across internal and subcontracted design teams. Your expertise will be crucial in developing designs and technical documentation, ensuring that engineering deliverables meet the highest standards.

Location: Vaasa, Prohoc HQ

As a Design Engineer, you will:

• Develop and execute Mechanical and Piping design tasks
  
• Coordinate design work across various teams and suppliers
• Ensure technical compliance in design projects
• Translate project requirements into engineering deliverables
• Take ownership of design drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Engage with customers and partners on engineering matters

Your education and language skills:

• Degree in Plant, Mechanical, or Piping Engineering
Excellent communication skills in English

To succeed, you have:

• Proven experience in leading and successfully executing engineering projects
• A strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• A quick learner eager to adopt new knowledge and share it with your team
• An innovative mindset with a drive to seek out and implement better solution
• Experience of CAD programs such as Auto CAD Plant 3D and Inventor
• Hands-on experience with Mechanical and Piping work
