We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join Visko Teepak. This new position offers an opportunity to impact the future of our reporting together with users located around the world. You will be working from our office in Mariehamn, Finland or from our plant in Hanko, Finland. Hybrid work is also a possibility.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will build and develop reports, visualize and present data supporting business decisions.
This role involves working closely with various departments, starting from IT to business/process owners globally and understanding their data needs and delivering comprehensive reports and dashboards. You will continuously support the organization with observations made while analysing data looking for trends but also identifying errors and, over time, be able to propose corrective actions.
You report to the Director Finance/Accounting EMEA in Mariehamn.
You are passionate about and responsible for:

Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to generate valuable insights and trends.
Dashboard & Report Creation: Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports to support business operations and decision-making.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and data-driven decision-making.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand their analytical requirements and provide solutions.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, including design, requirements, and user manuals.

Education & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: Several years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL, and experience with data visualization tools.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to translate technical data into understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Strong skills in English, both in writing and verbal, are expected due to Visko Teepak Group internal working language.
Problem-Solving: Ability to combine theory with practice to solve complex problems.
Experience in the manufacturing industry or a similar field.
Knowledge of ERP systems.

System Knowledge:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Power Point.
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar is preferred, but not required.
