Technical back office Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Prepare & review 2-D & isometry drawings, Shop drawings, as built drawings & P&ID against site response with all details using Revit & Auto CAD
- Size different equipment as pumps , heat exchangers , valves ,…..
- Size piping distribution networks for liquids and steam .
- Preparing BOM, weld maps & all its related documents.
- Prepare qualification documents .
- Study and analyze tender documents from a technical point of view
- Create project cost estimates in terms of the required material as per bill of quantities, amount of work, material/equipment and manpower requirements during the tendering phase, this includes all systems, products and services to client specifications/ requirements.
- Keep updating client/vendors/subcontractors/consultant contact details list.
- Issuing RFQ (Request for quotation) to all vendor and subcontractors, and consultant to get their technical/commercial offers for new tenders.
- Receiving quotations from Vendors, Suppliers and Subcontractors
- Make sure that the quotations comply with the required and provided Specifications
- Prepare comparison Sheet for rates Quoted by Sub Contractors and suppliers
- Communicate with the consultant to obtain the approval and then share the workshop drawings with all the concerned parties in the site.
- Conduct estimated quantity survey to determine the quantity of material that need to be purchased or procured.
- BSc of Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical).
- 3+ years’ experience.
- Very good English & communication skills.
- Able to Plan the tasks, time & resources to avoid any potential problems on site
- Very good in Revit & Auto CAD
