QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language is highly desirable
2. High School Diploma preferred, but not mandated, general engineering aptitude
required.
3. High degree of initiative, motivation and endurance.
4. Knowledge of:
- A variety of test instruments and tools necessary for the repair and
maintenance of heating, ventilation and sheet metal.
- Basic principles of electricity.
- Operational hazards and standard safety practices.
- Basic sheet metal work and fabrication of duct work.
- Record keeping and report writing.
- Computerized electrical circuits and systems as they relate to laundry
equipments.
5. Ability to:
- Diagnose problems and make recommendations.
- Make estimates of materials required.
- Repair and replace damaged parts and equipment.
- Work independently without direct supervision.
