Hydraulic Engineer
Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in storm water and sewer network design, as well as experience with key software applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and model storm water management systems, foul sewer networks, firefighting systems, and irrigation networks.
- Utilize software tools such as Water GEMS, Sewer GEMS, Infra Wizard, Info Works ICM, and ARC Map to conduct hydraulic analyses and develop effective solutions.
- Perform hydraulic modeling and simulations to ensure systems are efficient, reliable, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to develop and implement design strategies that meet project requirements and objectives.
- Conduct site assessments and hydraulic testing to gather data and validate designs.
- Prepare and present technical reports, design documentation, and recommendations based on hydraulic analyses.
- Review and optimize existing hydraulic systems to enhance performance and address potential issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in hydraulic engineering with a focus on storm water modeling, foul sewer network design, firefighting network design, and irrigation network design.
- Proficiency with hydraulic modeling and design software, including Water GEMS, Sewer GEMS, Infra Wizard, Info Works ICM, and ARC Map.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic principles, fluid dynamics, and water management practices.
- Experience in regulatory compliance, environmental impact assessments, and project management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
