Missions/Main Duties:
Lead the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential HSE issues and recommend corrective actions.
Provide training and support to all employees on HSE protocols and best practices.
Collaborate with management to establish HSE performance metrics and monitor progress towards goals.
Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
Prepare and present HSE reports to stakeholders, highlighting compliance status and areas for improvement.
Serve as the primary contact for external regulatory bodies and inspections regarding HSE matters.
Profile/Skills:
Bachelor's degree in engineering with any discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management within the Construction industry is a proffered.
In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards relevant to the industry.
Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and developing safety management systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess HSE challenges and implement effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or similar HSE credentials are highly desirable.
