Data Processing Manager Purpose of the Job
This position main role is to ensure the accuracy, quality, and quantity of the data recorded from the various forms of each program to Coptic Orphans database system in a timely manner, and in compliance with the organization's global policy and manuals. Ensuring that the translation of all letters reach all sponsors in a timely manner with quality content and the processed data gets saved and documented to guarantee the ability to retrieve and access the data whenever it is necessary. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Oversee, lead, and direct the functions of the data processing department (i.e: reviewing, validating, translating, and processing the data on Coptic Orphans' database system, this includes letters, intro letters, progress reports, and forms
Supervise and support Translators and Data processing team through coaching and discussions
Oversee, and monitor the progress of the daily work and tasks to ensure achieving the daily goals
Evaluate the department's progress and results to correct interactions and intervene as necessary; make recommendations for future direction and/or changes
Coordinating with the Programs department regarding receiving all needed letters, documents and forms and recording on timely manner
Help other departments in translating and copyediting documents (i.e: manuals, contracts, monthly reports...etc.
Ensure data consistency and check all missing documents and information and collect it from related departments
Periodically conduct data perfection & data validation to maintain the quality of data
Set the operation KPIs for the Data Processing department and make sure that of their achievement
Supervisory Responsibilities This position supervise a team of 10 plus employees (Translators & Data processing team) Required Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor degree in Linguistics, Education - English department, Translation section or a related field
7 - 10 years of professional experience
3-5 years of experience in a managerial position for a large operational team
Experience in Quality control
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Supervisory and strong leadership skills
Excellent command of the English language, written and spoken
Experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
Demonstrated ability to conduct research and perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis
Travel and Working requirements
Typical office environment limited to walking, sitting, typing, using office equipment, and occasional lifting of boxes or luggage during travel
Working out of the official hours and on weekends may be required
Regular contact with staff in Cairo Office, field staff, and HQ office
Frequent contact with external partners such as technology vendors
