Position Summary:
The position will be responsible for providing analysis, insights, and business decision support to the Commercial team. You will provide ongoing operational support to the Commercial Team, building relationships internally with Commercial, Marketing, Finance & Supply Chain.
The role of Analyst, Sales Support will sit within the Commercial function, reporting to the Director, Sales of Egypt.
Responsibilities:
- Use a combination of analytical and communication skills to develop recommendations, influence commercial decisions, and govern related processes
- Deliver systems & process improvements through collaboration and engagement with the commercial team and other functions.
- Work collaboratively with the Commercial team to Analyze all In Market sales details like ( Sell out report per customer , per SKU, per area & Top customers details, sales opportunities , sales trend comparison VS. Lys…ETC……
- Provide customer level sales reports for the Commercial Team.
- Run market/sales analysis, working where relevant, to understand and detect market trends and competition movements.
- Assist with the maintenance of the sales support system Sales buzz. (BI.)
- Organization, planning and support for KAMs (Key Account Managers) regarding small regional Trade Shows and associated materials.
- Support the Commercial team with any administrative duties and mailing programs as required
- Support the commercial team in the preparation for customer meetings (e.g. preparing presentations) and taking part in customer meetings on request
- Develop, automate, monitor, and report metrics on volumes, net sales, gross margin.
- Share best practices across the Commercial Team
What we are looking for:
Required Skills & Experience
- Educated to a minimum of “bachelor’s degree” or equivalent.
- English proficiency required.
- Excellent written & oral skills
- Highly developed IT skills and proficient with Microsoft Office tools
(Particularly Excel & Power Point)
- Strong analytical ability with a passion for numbers and problem-solving
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment, delivering quality output while adhering to tight deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
- Flexible and responsive working style
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Admin, Finance and/or Sales experience
- Experience & knowledge Sales buzz.
- Experience of working within a similar business environment – FMCG
- Commercial Acumen
