The job We are currently expanding the team in our surgical educational facilities and have a permanent full-time Mobile Lab Technician vacancy for the right person (watch this video to dive into the environment: https://youtu.be/7tq7Cn Zc97o ). Arthrex is the only company in Europe that offers training facilities in fully equipped, high-tech mobile surgical labs. This offers a unique possibility to train surgeons wherever and whenever by offering the entire Arthrex line of products at every hospital. As the surgical technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining our facilities, so they operate at peak efficiency. Responsibilities include:
Assisting surgeons and Arthrex colleagues during surgical training workshops
Preparing workstations with instrument setups
Learning about new techniques and equipment setups
Maintaining and troubleshooting medical equipment
Keeping stock of disposable usage
Handling human specimens
This position requires traveling across the whole Europe. The working schedule and travel itineraries will be planned several weeks in advance, in a manner that balances business needs and your personal life. About you
You have relevant professional background, such as OR nurse / Surgical Technician / Physiotherapist / etc.
Experience with working in a wet lab environment.
Willingness to do the work required – you will be travelling internationally in Europe (primarily Nordic Countries) and can spend a lot of time away from home.
Desire to learn continuously – it is a dynamic and fast-growing field.
Ability to take charge in a fast-paced environment. There is a lot of responsibility, but also a lot of freedom to decide your own approach on how to solve problems.
You will work with new people every day and should be a positive communicator.
Full Professional Proficiency in English is a must; some knowledge of Danish can be an advantage.
You are based in Copenhagen area.
