John Sisk & Son are recruiting for a Site Foreman/Fit out for Copenhagen preferably some experience in the Data Centre sector.
The Site Foreman for Fit Out projects is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on a construction site, particularly focused on interior fit-out and finishing works. This involves coordinating trades, ensuring health and safety regulations are met, and making sure the project is completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all on-site activities during the fit-out phase.
Coordinate different trades (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers) to ensure efficient workflow
Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards, in line with project specifications.
Implement and monitor health and safety practices on site, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance.
Monitor project timelines and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
Address issues that arise during construction, finding quick and effective solutions.
Provide regular updates to project managers or senior management on progress, potential delays, and site conditions.
Work closely with clients and architects to ensure their fit-out requirements are met.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of construction, fit-out processes, and materials.
Ability to manage and motivate a team of workers and subcontractors.
Proven experience in construction site management, particularly in fit-out projects.
Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
Certification in site safety (e.g., Safe Pass in Ireland). Knowledge of local building regulations and safety standards.
