Then you could be Ambu’s next Group Financial Controller. In this position, you have the opportunity to develop, adapt and implement internal financial control policies and guidelines across our organization, ensuring transparency, standardization, and compliance.
You will join a team of 4 people with a wide range of backgrounds, experience and specialisms. As well as taking ownership of your personal tasks, you will be contributing to lifting the performance of the team with your own knowledge, as well as learn from your peers to develop yourself professionally. As a part of our team, you will be based at our headquarters in Ballerup, near Copenhagen, reporting to the Head of Financial Controlling & Reporting.
Key responsibilities
You likely already have some years of experience working with internal financial processes and associated risks and controls, and now want to take the next step or already is driven by being part of setting the scene and driving changes and ensure changes are sustained.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Optimising Ambu Group’s internal financial control framework to ensure global consistency.
- Preparing risk assessment and entity scoping.
- Evaluate the control design defined by entities.
- Carryout procedures for desktops reviews to enhance the compliance and governance framework.
- Planning and conducting controlling visits to entities in Ambu.
- Prepare and update guidelines, best practice sharing and provide training/workshops.
- Maintain and govern action plan(s) to close issues/identified control deficiencies.
- Being a trusted partner for the entities and functions in Ambu’s many global entities and the wider business.
- Being main responsible for driving the implementation of a task and compliance management tool.
Suggested candidate profile

- An educational background with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, audit, or related field.
- +3 years’ experience working in external audit, internal audit, financial compliance, financial controlling or a similar role.
- Experience working in a global organisation with global stakeholders.
- An analytical and structural approach but also apply logic and pragmatic thinking.
- Solid excel skills.
- Experience with compliance management tool is advantageous.
- Dedication to meeting expectations within a global organization, along with a proactive approach to taking ownership and responsibility.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, coupled with personal integrity.
- A positive attitude and collaborative mindset.
- As we are a global organisation, both oral and written English capabilities are crucial.
