We are currently looking for an ESG Reporting Specialist to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Ambu ESG Reporting, with particular focus on CSRD implementation and data management. It means that you will work closely with other team members, but also with other corporate functions and local stakeholders to provide support in relations to various projects and initiatives.
As the ESG Reporting Specialist, you will report directly to the Head of ESG Reporting and Data Management department and will be part of the Danish organization based at Ambu’s office in HQ Office in Ballerup, Denmark.
Key responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:

Lead the development of ESG content for the Annual Report, ensuring compliance with current CSRD requirements and contributing to a compelling narrative.

Develop and implement robust process for CSRD-aligned Annual Report such as annual wheels, project management plans and related documents to ensure timely engagement with stakeholders, data collection and drafting of the report, while striving for continuous process improvement.

Support stakeholders and assist colleagues in the different functions with Annual report data and understanding of CSRD disclosure requirements, metrics, targets, and their calculations.

Conduct regular workshops and training to support colleagues in the different functions to collect and compute ESG data as per CSRD disclosure requirements.

Support digitalization and automation of Annual Reporting process, data collection and data management such as data lakes and XBRL tagging.

Supporting regular review and updates of double materiality assessment in close collaboration with senior management and other stakeholders.

Support decisions related to ESG reporting to meet upcoming legislation such as CSRD and EU Taxonomy, TCFD and other international reporting frameworks.

Assist with ad-hoc tasks.
Suggested candidate profile
Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you:

MSc degree in Sustainability, Accounting & Finance, Business, or a related field or professional experience with the ESG and sustainability area from large companies, audit- or consulting firms is preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience working with sustainability/ESG reporting in an international organization, with particular focus on preparation and drafting of ESG part of the Annual Report

Solid understanding of CSRD reporting requirements, ESRS standards, disclosure requirements and metrics, TCFD, EU Taxonomy and SFDR – experience is preferred.

Strong digital and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI and Power Point, preferably also experience with XBRL tagging.

Proven experience in project management and handling of large quantitative datasets and qualitative information and documentation.

Proven ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent English and/or Danish communication skills (both oral and in writing) including the ability to transform complex information to simple understandable slides.
