You’ll be part of Offshore Wind Category Strategy where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for Ørsted’s offshore wind supply chain strategy, commercial bid inputs, supplier relations, supplier performance, and capacity agreements within the categories offshore cable installation, wind turbine generator installation, heavy lift installation, and transportation. As a team, we contribute to the overall procurement strategy, taking ownership of and leading strategic initiatives and optimising our supply chain in the offshore wind project portfolio.
You’ll play an important role in:
establishing and maintaining strategic supplier relations at senior level
ensuring that category strategies always fit market and portfolio conditions
delivering commercial bid inputs reflecting the latest market information and expectations
leading and motivating the team to achieve excellent results
setting clear department objectives and functional targets, monitoring ongoing progress and driving continuous improvement
fostering a culture of learning and development within the team, providing coaching and mentorship to empower everyone to reach their full potential.
To succeed in the role, you:
have proven experience in leading and managing complex CAPEX scopes
have relevant technical and/or commercial management experience, with exposure to suppliers and internal and external senior management
are an experienced negotiator and relationship builder
thrive in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional environment, handling commercial, technical, legal, regulatory, and financial aspects effectively
have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are adept at building strong relationships and influencing diverse stakeholders across various levels
are ambitious and set the bar high.
