JOB DESCRIPTION:
Join our Team as a Master Data Architect
You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Master Data Architecture and actively contribute to the success of the digital transformation at Knorr-Bremse.
Responsibilities:
Help our business units to establish technical solutions for Master Data standards and increase the quality level of Master Data in our SAP and consuming systems
Leverage develop the future solutions for Master Data with our internal and external partners
Provide support in resolving data quality and technological problems with subject matter experts
To be a part of a central Master Data Governance Team in which you create the foundation for a data-driven organization
Drive Master Data Solutions in key programs like S/4 HANA and work in cross-functional teams with the business units
Act as the substitute of the Global Teamlead and serve as a strategic sparring partner
Requirements:
Degree in Business Informatics, information technology, or related fields
Experience in master data management and product management
Good methodical, technical, and process-related knowledge of the SAP standard and a good overview of the relevant SAP product portfolio
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate between different stakeholder groups from technology to business
Experience in developing MDM architectures and data flows across / integration in SAP ERP (R/3 & S/4) with SAP and non-SAP satellite systems
Good experience in leading international IT-projects and first experience in leading people
Excellent English skills, German proficiency is a plus
Sample responsibilities for this position include:
Align with global team members and managers in business and IT establishing Data Steardship and Data Governance processes
Drive forward Master Data Management and Data Quality Management in the domains Customer, Vendor, Material, Locations, Finance and Controlling, Assets
Develop data integration and migration processes from SAP R/3 to S/4 by using a central MDM Hub (Profisee@MS Azure)
Work with SAP and PLM Architecture teams on standards, product roadmap, and architecture decisions based on the enterprise blueprint
Collaborate with global team members and managers in business and IT modeling the data domains and relationships across domains
Collaborate with global team members and managers in business and IT to deliver MDM / Governance team deliverables and capabilities to drive continuous improvement
Assist operational teams in troubleshooting activities within business critical environments
Implement Business rules and DQ rules at MDM and source and target platforms
Drive excellence and ensure continuous improvement in quality of deliverables
Definition and management of project deliverables whose intent is to optimize usage of data within KB
