About the role:
This is intended to be a dual role with local plant responsibilities for quality and a EC group quality responsibility, to develop a consistent approach to quality across the EC plants. Focusing on improving product quality, reducing COPQ and developing mechanisms to improve quality through the complete supply chain.
To manage the QHSE programmes and policies within BUEC specified areas and to ensure BUEC meet the Gunnebo corporate and local requirements thought QMS and ISO accreditations. To develop and support an emerging focus on sustainability by engaging with and motivating employees with tangible environmental targets.
What you will do:
BUEC QHSE compliance (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, QMS, BCP) Develop QHSE policies for and provide appropriate support for EC Operations globally. This includes providing supporting information for projects, providing H&S support and training for staff. Maintenance of the H&S, environmental and Quality manuals and communication to all employees. Completion of regular Quality, H&S and Environmental audits Manage and report on NCN for BUEC and ensure there is an active COPQ reduction process in place with clear targets and plans. Work with Group Sustainability manager and actively drive the sustainability actions within BUEC globally Local Plant Quality Manager responsibilities Work with key stakeholders in all the plants to lead the development and implementation of an EC group approach to Quality. Identify best practice and roll out across the plants Review and report on Quality issues, identifying trends and implementing actions to robustly address them Implement and manage the Engineering Change Control Process Report on Quality actions and plans at the monthly EC Operations meeting Other duties as required.
