Digitalization Specialist: MES Engineer specializing in IT and interfaces

Your role and responsibilities

Communicate with the customer (process analysis, requirements) System configuration, testing, and on-site deployment Modifications of the system to the requirements If you enjoy communication, user training can be part of your job Solving customer requirements and possible problems with the system Cooperation with MES system areas: Production Planning, Production Tracing, Quality Control This position is focused on MES around the installation of systems on Windows/Linux/VMware platforms, configuration of interfaces with ERP/PLC/OPC, TCP/IP, working with databases

Qualifications for the role

• Secondary school/university education in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, economics, process automation, chemical engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of work experience with IT, ERP, MES, or other information systems
• You have experience with programming in PL/SQL, T-SQL
• You are familiar with databases (Oracle, MSSQL, etc.)
• You have an overview of IT – hardware, software, virtualization, network services, cloud services, etc.
• You don't mind occasional business trips within Europe (20-30 days per year)
• You can communicate in English both in writing and orally (communication with foreign colleagues and customers)
• You are not afraid of independence or teamwork
• Linux Experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of production processes is an advantage
• Knowledge of business Object/Power BI reporting tools is an advantage
• Overview of industrial communication and automation, or ERP SAP is an advantage
• Znalost C, C++, C#, REST API, Web Services is an advantage
