The Technical Project Management Specialist is responsible for the day to-day management of technology projects through all stages of the implementation process. The Technical Project Management Specialist is a professional who can anticipate, negotiate, and resolve problems, bottlenecks, and scheduling conflicts. The Technical Project Management Specialist is a sound communicator who can link scrum masters and development teams to technology solutions managers and business units to ensure high of quality and timeliness of projects’ implementations.
Responsibilities and Duties
Drive project kick-off activities: internal meetings, statement of work creation, project plan documentation for top-tier, high profile customers
Facilitate getting the work done practicing servant leadership and encourage discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions
Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices
Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items
Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes
Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements
Planning and organizing sprint demos and product/system testing
Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team
Tracking project processes, deliverables, and financials
Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders
Assist in team development through holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work, and leveraging cross-functional team skills to improve product backlog throughput
Act as an escalation path for implementation projects to reset and clarify expectations
Provide oversight and management of work backlogs, the prioritization process and work scheduling and monitoring

Qualifications
Strong English Skills for Business (Written and Spoken)
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred
5+ years active experience as Technical Project Manager/Business Analyst/Scrum Master or in a similar role skilled in serving multiple teams while managing large teams of developers, QAs, BAs, and Vendors
Experience with managing or supporting complex software development projects and/or enterprise systems implementations
Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions
Superb written and verbal communication skills characterized by technical acumen, clarity,
and brevity, to effectively communicate with internal and client stakeholders and teams.
Demonstrated analytical skills and a natural predisposition toward data-driven decision making, additionally able to make reasoned decisions in situations of uncertainty or imperfect data
Known for ability to produce high-quality deliverables that meet or exceed timeline and budgetary targets
Understanding and experience with common project management concepts (burn down charts, story pointing, scrum ceremonies etc..) including creating supporting documentation and processes
Able to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
Passionate about solving real problems
Background in managed services or supply chain industries
Experience with common project management and business applications including Azure Dev Ops, JIRA, Microsoft 365, Aha, Roadmunk
