Cloud Pay’s Global Marketing Team is seeking an experienced team leader to lead a newly formed SDR team located in Costa Rica. This team leader will build, manage and scale our SDR (Sales Development Representative) team, based in Costa Rica and serving North America and will drive the team’s efforts in prospecting, lead generation, and qualification, helping to build a pipeline of qualified leads for the sales organization. This role requires a strong focus on people development, performance management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:
Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of SDRs, providing day-to-day coaching, guidance, and support to ensure team performance meets or exceeds targets.
Goal Setting: Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, and goals for the SDR team, aligning them with broader company sales objectives.
Training and Development: Onboard new SDRs, and continuously train and mentor team members to improve their skills in prospecting, lead qualification, and outbound outreach.
Pipeline Management: Oversee the lead generation process, ensuring that the team is effectively identifying and qualifying prospects to hand off to the sales team.
Performance Analysis: Monitor team performance through metrics and reporting, providing regular feedback to SDRs on areas of improvement and success.
Process Improvement: Work with the sales management team to refine outbound sales strategies, scripts, and workflows to optimize productivity and lead conversion.
Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, sales operations, and account executives to ensure alignment on lead generation strategies and campaigns.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the sales leadership on SDR team performance, lead quality, and areas for improvement.
Motivation and Engagement: Foster a positive and motivating team culture that encourages high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Attributes and Experience Required:
Proven experience as an SDR, SDR Team Lead, or in a similar outbound sales role.
Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to manage a team to success.
Excellent understanding of sales development techniques, tools, and metrics.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive team performance.
Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) and sales automation tools.
High energy, positive attitude, and a passion for sales.
Preferred:
Experience in a Saa S or tech company.
Familiarity with outbound lead generation techniques such as cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
