Portfolio Manager

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a Portfolio Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to lead and oversee significant IT projects across our global organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to determine project objectives, scope, and deliverables, and ensure flawless execution.

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to world class quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project objectives, scope, and deliverables, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Create and manage project plans, encompassing timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies, to achieve ambitious project goals.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Communicate project updates and status reports to all relevant parties involved in the project, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing among project team members to drive exceptional results.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of proven experience in IT project management, successfully delivering complex projects.
B2+ English Level.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage project teams.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong ability to effectively convey information, both in writing and verbally.
Familiarity with PMP principles and practices is valued.
