We seek an experienced and hardworking Lead Qualifier to join our growing Global sales team. The first point of contact with our potential guests, the Guest Inquiry Team is critical in giving a lasting first impression and starting the excitement of the Quark trip planning process. Through your conversations with inquiring guests, you will discover what our guests are looking for, but also pick up on the small details that will help turn an incredible vacation into a trip of a lifetime! As a Lead Qualifier, you will be an expert communicator and negotiator, with broad-ranging destination knowledge and a genuine passion for customer service. You will act as a brand ambassador for Quark Expeditions, going above and beyond for guests and handling all inquiries with the utmost care, integrity, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Manage the initial steps of the guest journey, building great relationships and crafting a positive first impression of the Quark Expeditions brand.
Connect with guests to understand their needs, match them to their dream destination, and provide advice and recommendations.
Follow up rigorously with prospective passengers through 80+ outbound calls, emails, and texts per day.
Consistently Meet targets related to revenue, close rate, and activities.
Follow the guest inquiry protocol to analyze guest profiles and establish the most appropriate matches within Quark Expeditions' product selection.
Introduce guests to their expert Polar Travel Advisor for a seamless transition from inquiry to trip planning.
Share valuable destination knowledge, showcasing your passion and enthusiasm for travel.
Communicate across multiple platforms to ensure a smooth customer journey.
Requirements:
3+ years of sales or client advisory experience in a customer-facing role, with a focus on consultative sales.
Some travel experience.
A 'guest first' mentality and a passion for delivering personalized and professional service.
Collaborative working style and a genuine desire for excellence in customer care.
Candidate who is adept at quickly adapting to new sales methods and tools.
Diligent listener, confident, and well-mannered with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Outstanding mental agility and critical thinking to understand guests' travel dreams and match them with experiences across multiple destinations.
Keen learner, always seeking opportunities to enhance destination knowledge and provide exceptional inquiry experiences.
Strong communication skills with a diverse group of backgrounds and personalities.
Diligence in updating systems to capture valuable guest information.
