BASIC FUNCTION The IT Vendor Management Analyst will be a key resource for the IT Vendor Management Office (IT VMO) and support the Manager of IT VMO with contract and financial analysis, contract synergies, and other activities to help the IT VMO achieve its objectives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and analysis skills, have a general knowledge of IT solutions, and a strong desire to manage our client´s wide IT initiatives pertaining to acquisition and divestiture activities. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the development, review, negotiation, and management of Commercial Agreements between our client and its IT hardware, software, services, and telecom Providers.
Analyze contracts, pricing schedules, order forms, or similar documents to enable spend optimization and risk reduction.
Compare and Review supplier contract terms and conditions.
Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with key third party vendors.
Conduct analysis of spend and usage to ensure compliance to agreements, optimal usage, and to identify leverage opportunities with focus on our client’s acquisition and divestiture activities
Help manage IT initiatives in a manner that drives adoption, removes administrative roadblocks, enhances communications, and ensures that executive targets are met.
Identify new areas of opportunity for our client through project work, contracts review, and research.
Create tracking mechanisms and financial models that aid in the management process.
Help formulate and create strategic communications targeted at our client´s Executives or IT suppliers/partners

EDUCATION
Undergraduate: Bachelor’s degree in Business or IT preferred.
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
4+ years B.S. of work experience in the information technology, strategic sourcing, finance or asset management field.
Experience Managing Small to Medium / Global IT Supplier relationships.
Strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
Excellent analytical skills.
Knowledge of Excel and other tools that facilitate large volumes of data (Excel, CSV).
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills required. Experience in Financial Modeling around RFP and Negotiation activities.
