- Promotion of a safe and healthy work environment through continuous improvement, training, and health and wellbeing campaigns.
- Actively work to prevent emergencies, accidents, and other unwanted and unforeseen events.
- Active participation in the investigation of any incidents and/or accidents that occurred on site.
- Support the security activities of the facility and potential risks related to shipments, thefts, vandalism, and any other risk situations.
- Active support to report and monitor HSE & security KPI's such as safety observations, near misses (casi-tico), first aid, potential serious accidents, recordable accidents, SAFE score, waste score, and general environmental indicators, internally.
- Active participation in the HSE management system including processes like directives, procedures and protocols implementation, internal audit, performance evaluation, etc.
- Involvement in continuously optimizing processes and unit operations concerning sustainability, safety, health, environmental protection, and HSE legal compliance.
- Support corporate social responsibility activities.
- Involvement in the contractor and suppliers’ management (job hazardous analysis, legal compliance, training, and field inspections).
- Active participation in implementing and monitoring HSE guidelines in the different functional areas on site.
- Represent the HSE department in meetings, seminars, and conferences internally and externally.
- Promote and give follow-up to the internal HSE programs (BKM’s, Casi-tico, BBS, ergonomics, A3 investigations, JHA and safety observation reports, and any other programs implemented).
WHO YOU ARE
- High school completed (Mandatory).
- Graduated as an HSE technician. (Mandatory).
- An advanced HSE engineering student is a plus.
- At least 2 years of work experience as an HSE technician (Mandatory).
- Experience in the medical industry (Mandatory).
- Experience in incident investigation (root cause analysis) and managing contractors and suppliers (Mandatory).
- Intermediate English proficiency is a plus.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental management systems, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management systems, and NFPA 101 Life Safety standard are a Plus.
