The Position
Join our dynamic finance team as a Capital & Lease Accountant Analyst specializing in fixed assets. You will manage fixed asset accounting duties, monthly reporting, complex analysis, and serve as a key liaison for affiliates.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure proper accounting of fixed assets, including acquisitions, transfers, and disposals.
Prepare and analyze monthly fixed asset reconciliations and roll-forward reports.
Conduct complex accounting analysis and audits.
Serve as a subject matter expert on Accounting matters, advising and supporting affiliates.
Maintain quality systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Lead or support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and fixed assets processes.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point; SAP experience is a bonus.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Fluent in English & Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, particularly in fixed assets and IFRS.
