Engineering Manager - What You’ll Do:
As an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our engineering team. Your responsibilities will include:
Leadership & Growth: Prioritize your direct reports' career growth, well-being, and continuous improvement. Model the values of our culture and act as a coach and mentor.
Mentorship: Provide technical mentorship to associate level engineers, fostering an environment of learning and growth. Drive the adoption of best practices across our engineering division.
Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to set priorities, guide the product roadmap, and ensure your team is prepared to meet our goals. Build and maintain highly capable, motivated teams.
Technical Expertise: Offer hands-on technical guidance and support, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions.
Impact & Goals: Set clear, measurable goals for your team, aligning with company objectives to drive success and accountability.
The Skills, Experience, and Mindset Required:
Extensive experience in software engineering, with a strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Ruby on Rails and React. Familiarity with Java Script, Node.js, and other relevant technologies is a plus.
Proven ability to lead, manage, and inspire technical teams. Experience in recruiting, mentoring, and building cohesive and high-performing teams.
A track record of shipping high-quality Saa S products or services, with a deep understanding of the agile development process.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and a solid understanding of leveraging them in a Saa S environment.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment. A willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to the company beyond your immediate responsibilities.
